The 35 Prophet is a user who joins the discord every now and then, usually a few days before the 35 pokes reveal. They post lists they created, claiming that they are real the list. Despite their claims, none of these lists are real, except the one time the moderators gave them the actual List for the October 2024 Reveal. The Prophet is a very admired figure in the community, much of it coming from the mystery behind their identity. In the past, the user chemfruit was largely suspected to be the 35 Prophet because of their own obsession with yanmega, which the 35 Prophet shares with cryptic messages & words they send along with their lists like "Yamen", along with their Golden Yanmega profile picture from the Yanmega BREAK pokemon card (Notably Yamen had been a joke term started by the community 4 months prior to the Prophets first message). However, by far the biggest suspect for who may be running the 35 Prophet account, is NotGerald, the founder and owner of 35 pokes. This is because even though it's fairly easy to do, not many people have created a list besides NotGerald. And the lists themselves look to be purposefully distinct from how NotGerald makes them, like if they are crafted to not look like his lists, rather than having their own style. Besides NotGerald, Sxitty & Thundergames are also suspects for a similar reason gerald is one to begin with, because the 35 Prophet had never verified with smogon their account, meaning a moderator had to have let them in manually to bypass verification. Thundergames has had direct contact with 35 Prophet on discord, and knows their identity. This is already suspicious for obvious reasons, but on top of that, 35 Prophet has friends turned off and was not friends with 35 Prophet, which means that Thunder had likely not been messaging the Prophet himself, and actually was the Prophet. However as nice as this sounds, you could easily say he was messaging the prophets other account since he knew their actual identity. Sxitty is less of a direct connection, and more of similar typing styles, and the fact that she is a moderator. Overall, the 35 Prophet remains to be one of the bigger mysteries out there, and it's possible we will learn their identity one day.
The Prophet's debut message. This happened in the bingo thread, and initially everyone was confused, some thinking it was a bot, thunder replied jokingly asking if someone was trying to bypass the 1 bingo card per person rule. Chemfruit was immediately suspected, however he quickly shifted suspicion to carnivore04. Overall though, the community mostly ignored this and moved on.
This image was attached to their message, which was the 35 Prophet's first prediction to what the legal pokemon were going to be in the following month. This was wrong by a long shot of course.
The Message they sent for the October 2024 reveal.
The list they posted, this was of course the real one.
