35 Pokes Wiki - October 2024 Reveal

The October 2024 Reveal was a bit of a mixed bag. By far the biggest highlight was that

the meta was "leaked" by the 35 Prophet. The 35 Prophet is an account that joins the

discord every now and then claiming to have the real list, and posting fake ones.

However, this time around the Mods decided to give 35 Prophet the actual list. Along

with this the Mods just pretended the list was fake, and initially everyone bought into it.

This worked because in the prior month's reveal, the prophet had posted a fake list,

which the mods pretended was real. This pretty much duped the community entirely

when the actual list had been posted. So this time around, people bought into it

fairly easily despite the trust issues. However a few users began to theorize otherwise.

More users began to catch on, however with no evidence beyond speculation, those

suspecting trickery had no choice but to simply wait until the day of the reveal arrived.

Eventually, that day did. Usually for the reveals, you of course want to reveal the

roster for the month, the real roster, thats the entire point. However, we knew that

the community would likely catch on after what we pulled last reveal, so the mods

planned ahead. This time, instead of revealing the actual list that the 35 prophet

had posted, we revealed a fake list through a marathon of 1 pokes games.

Each game was played in a free for all format with everyone having 1 pokemon

on their team, being the same pokemon. To add salt onto the wound, the roster

being revealed was the first fake roster posted by the prophet, which some

people did catch onto, but majority did not. However this reveal ended up taking an hour

to not even get through a fourth of the pokemon, so the stream host, Sxitty, decided

to do 4 pokemon at once in one game each so it would go by faster. After 2 hours, the

reveal was finally done and everybody who was suspecting the list to be real, had been

proven wrong in their heads. So they are waiting and waiting and waiting until the list is

posted..and bam..the list posted was not what they just spent 2 hours revealing. No, it

was the list the prophet leaked originally, and they were right all along.

Although this was a very long and stressful reveal (mb), it wasn't all bad, as

we did get some funny 1 pokes games out of it.
