To be eligible for membership in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, a candidate must:
be a legal resident of Canada:
NOTE: A legal resident of Canada is a Canadian citizen, a landed immigrant, or, the dependant of a person who is lawfully resident in Canada on a temporary basis for the purpose of education or employment.
provide proof of provincial health insurance coverage or equivalent;
be at least 12 years of age;
not have attained 19 years of age;
normally be in good physical condition;
not belong to another corps or squadron; and
be acceptable to the Commanding Officer (CO) of the cadet corps or squadron.
Applicants who have medical limitations may join Cadets, but may have limitations for certain activities and functions including summer training as determined by qualified medical staff from the RCSU. The safety and well-being of the Cadet is the major consideration.
The documents required for enrollment in the Canadian Cadet Organizations are:
· Proof of provincial health insurance (MB Health Card);
· Birth Certificate or Passport;
· Proof of residency status (for non-Canadian citizens)
· An application form must be completed and signed by a parent/legal guardian.
A Cadet may be measured for a uniform within two to four weeks of joining the squadron. Uniforms are distributed as supplies become available.

2. Fill out all the required details and either submit electronically or print the form.
3. On a parade night, bring the completed form (if not submitted electronically) along with their provincial health insurance (MB Health Card) and Birth Certificate or Passport.
