The transfer of the registration fee can be realized online, via bank transfer (please see Bank Account IBAN, below)

Even if you participate only one day the registration fee is unic.

If you find your name in the "EARLY and LATE" list and if you didn´t do the transfer yet you are invited to pay the corresponding early or late rate fee.

If you have the "Special Fee" you can do the pre-registration online.

If you have an approved abstract you or one of the work co-authors (who will present the work) has to be also registered.

You can also make a registration and participate to the symposium without presenting an abstract.

All the participants to 2IJS have to be registered.

The registration fee allows you to participate to the 2IJS, to the keynote speakers lectures. It includes material for the congress and the social dinner at Golden Coast TAVERNA. It does not include accommodation or transportation. For accommodation you can contact Golden Coast Symposium Venue directly (details here) or if you want, you can accommodate yourself in another location.


The Golden Coast Hotel was chosen as the perfect location and provides the most cost-effective rooms with all inclusive.

Please consider the timing and do your reservation to the Hotel as soon as you can (see Symposium Venue). The Organization Board does not intermediate accommodation for the participants. Questions can be sent directly to the Organization Board members.


The abstract submission closed on 18th of June 2018.

If the Abstract was approved, the author who will present the work, not necessary to be the first (corresponding author), has to be also registered to the Symposium. Contact the 2IJS: 2ijsgreece(at)gmail.com & organization2IJS(at)goldenjackal.eu

Submitted abstracts will be analyzed by the Scientific Committee which will decide if all criteria for the symposium are met. The participants will be asked to present their work in oral communications supported by written PowerPoint files or google-slides which will be projected during the Symposium or in posters.

The duration of the oral communications can be 5 or 10 minutes! 30 minutes the lectures from the educational platform.

The poster presentation time is 3 minutes!

Invited speakers will have additional time for their talks.


Submission of Abstracts Deadline 20 of May 2018

GOJAGE and the Department of Biology from the University of Athens gladly invite you to present novel research, innovative methods and findings with the following topics: Applied Ecology, Behavior Ecology, Biology, Conservation and Management, Diseases and Toxicology, Ecology, Feeding Ecology, Genetics, Habitat, Hunting, Monitoring, Physiology, Phylogeography and Biogeography, Population Ecology and Taxonomy. If your work is related to other topics, submit your work as a Free topic - this will be analyzed by the Scientific Committee.

Experts from Europe and abroad will again join us, like in Serbia 2014. This time we will meet in Marathon Bay, Attica Province Greece, in the vicinity of two National Parks. The Golden Coast Hotel has many facilities and a conference hall where we will join efforts and exchange ideas and contribute to the journey of decoding the fascinating jackal and related species ecology.

The venue is located at 25 km from the Athens International airport.
