Personnel who are in charge of servicing aircraft while on the ground. They ensure aircraft are in good condition for combat. Ground Crew are the only people who have access to repair and rearm equipment, along with the Crew Chief. In addition, they also serve as Air Traffic Controllers to guide flying aircraft on-base and also manage communication channels between JTACs, Command, and Pilots.
LAAD Gunners are personnel trained to operate close-in, low-altitude, surface-to-air weaponry. Their main mission is to ensure forward combat zones, marine forces, bases, and important areas are defended from any opposing aerial threat.
Aerial Gunners are the system operators/gunners of UNSC aircraft. Primarily they are assigned to an AC-220 Vulture Gunship operating either GAU-23 Autocannons or Argent V missile launchers to conduct combat operations that may involve them. In addition, they take the Crew-Chiefs role by maintaining the armament on the Gunship.

Pilots, also known as aviators, are specialized people in charge of controlling and operating UNSC aircraft. They may be trained to either fly a D-77TC Pelican or AV-14 Hornet. Pilots/Aviators are trained to do many of the following missions [Close air support, combat air patrol, aerial reconnaissance, and air assault]

Crew Chiefs are the in-flight aircraft maintenance technician. They are in charge of the aircraft before takeoff and after landing working with ground crew. When in the air, they operate the ramp gun and take orders from the pilot, they also coordinate with infantry when to dismount out of the aircraft.

Forward Air Controllers [FAC] also known as Joint Terminal Attack Controllers [JTAC], are trained in the knowledge of coordinating aircraft. They are deployed on the ground along with an infantry company and help coordinate and guide close air support aircraft to ensure attack runs hit on target and do not injure any friendly units. This occupation does require switching radio channels frequently.
