[NOT IMPLEMENTED YET]
The first phase goes over the information and what to expect in your upcoming phases of flight training. From there, you will be briefed one by one on the specific control you need to control your aircraft, whether you are flying a tilt-rotor aircraft or a fixed-wing aircraft. Additionally, you will be taught the different kinds of Anti-Aircraft weaponry and aircraft you may face out on the field, whether it may be Alien or Human. Then on, you will go over Air Traffic Control procedures, takeoff procedures, different brevity codes, and the phonetic alphabet that are critical to radio communication. Instructors may give a simple test, to ensure trainees know the information they have been taught.
The second phase will now go over basic piloting. Using what you learned from the first phase, you will now take that and use that to do basic flying and maneuvers to ensure pilots understand basic controls. Instructors will give a demonstration of flying around including takeoffs and landings. The instructor will then take the trainee to the pilot seat while overseeing how they fly either from the co-pilot seat or in a high enough tower position. If the trainee demonstrates they understand the controls, they may proceed to the next phase.
The third and final phase will now go over advanced maneuvers and how to conduct air support based on your aircraft. Trainees will each individually get into an aircraft. From there the instructors will now teach formation flying and different evasions for any possible air or ground threat. Once complete and landed back at base, the trainees will now move on to the second part, trainees will be taught the procedure of how an airstrike is requested on a specific position, using the JTAC/CAS Guide in the manual. Once all trainees understand each step in the guide completely, they will be ready to practice CAS. Each trainee will go one by one and will go through a simulated strike on a target with a JTAC using communications via radio. The cadet must complete two successful runs to move on. After completing Phase - 3, trainees have graduated and will now be assigned to their respective Squadron.
