Fourth grade enter singing
Everybody knows that kids have problems growing up
Some kids talk about 'em, and some kids never shut up
Your friends, your teachers, the teams you're on
The tests they give at school
The kid behind you, the kid in front
Oh life can be so cruel
But in spite of all the challenges growing up presents
We must advise you
Don't mean to alarm you
We live in the present tense
So we leave the TV
Put the video games to rest
Open the closet
Get out the gear
And do what we do best
Havin' a Ball all the time
Havin' a Ball, uh huh
Havin' a Ball all the time
Havin' a Ball, uh huh
4th Grade Teacher: Boys and girls. This is Charlotte and Scotty. They're very experienced dance instructors. Your parents and I think it would be beneficial if all of you could acquire some special inter-personal skills and social graces, other than free-throw shooting and the mysteries of the zone defense.
Scotty: Thank you, thank you principal. All right the first step to learn is the box step.
(Scotty and Charlotte demonstrate.)
Charlotte: Wonderful. Now will everyone take a partner so we can all practice this easy step. (All the girls select girl partners and all the boys select no one.)
