A Rhythm to Life

Scotty:  Well! Maybe I spoke too soon!

Charlotte  I think we can do it Scotty.  They have potential they are just a bit awkward.  But you were that way when we started dancing together.

Principal:   Ok everyone let’s gather around.  I’d like to introduce you to Scotty & Charlotte.  They will be teaching you how to dance.  They have assured me that you will be good enough to dance at the Anchor Ball next year after a few short lessons.

Scotty:  Anchor what?  Well in any event let’s start by pairing you up.  

Charlotte pairs them up.  

Charlotte:  Ok now grab your partners hand.  

There is an obvious uneasiness about this concept.

Charlotte:  Better yet just put your hands next to each other like this.  There you go.  Now follow me we will learn the rumba.   Side together back side together front.

They continue this with improvement each time.

Narrator:  After hours of practice on the rhumba, cha cha and hip hop the students have the hang of it.
