Christen Lee
Christen Lee is a faithfully called educator serving in the Winston‑Salem/Forsyth County Schools. She holds a doctorate along with multiple master’s degrees in the field of education. Christen enjoys reading on the beach, cheering for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and sharing life with her husband. Her compassion, academic excellence, and steady presence bring strength and wisdom to the ministry.
The roots of 2540 Ministries stretch back to 2017–2020, when Christopher and Christen served together with their family in a ministry that would eventually become Seasons of Life Ministries. Their calling during that season was to establish a local church presence within assisted‑living homes—a work marked by compassion, pastoral care, and a deep desire to bring the gospel to those often forgotten. This ministry continued faithfully until 2020, when it came to an end.
In the years that followed, Christopher served in several pastoral roles, helping churches in need of revitalization. During this time, Christen’s growing burden for neighbors experiencing homelessness began to shape their shared sense of calling. Her heart for the vulnerable drew Christopher into deeper engagement with the needs around them.
By 2022, both Christopher and Christen were actively serving among the homeless and low‑income communities through various appointments and opportunities. What began as simple acts of presence and mercy soon revealed a broader mission—one that united their past experiences, their gifts, and their convictions.
Through prayer, challenges, and a growing awareness of the needs before them, God clarified the vision that would become 2540 Ministries. What started as scattered moments of service
