Poster Paper Competition Evaluation Guidelines  (評分規則)

Every registered conference attendee, please help fill out the evaluation survey using the QR code provided in the conference handbook or on the on-site conference boards. 

Your feedback is a must to make this poster paper competition possible.   The competition rating (voting) closes at 1:00 p.m. on June 3.

You can select the top 5 poster papers based on your judgment (i.e., 5 points to the 1st place, 4 points to the 2nd place, and so on). Only your latest vote will be counted if you cast more than one vote.

The criteria below are for your reference. There are 29 poster papers in this competition:

1. Scientific Quality and Novelty

2. Applications to advance the quality and convenience of livelihood

3. Poster Design and Paper Abstract Contents/Format (e.g., the abstract template should be followed)

4. Responses during the poster paper discussion sessions or break times.

The survey responses will be compiled after the competition closes at 1:00 p.m. on June 3. We will select the winners of the outstanding BRC poster paper award based on the total points from the compiled data.

The number of winners and the amount of cash prizes will be determined based on the evaluation outcomes (e.g., the number of responses versus the budget). The awards will include scholarship cash and certificates granted at the closing ceremony.

The winners will be announced and awarded at the Closing Session at 3:30 p.m. on June 3. The lead authors of the winning poster papers must be on-site to receive the award. The qualification of the poster paper winner will be canceled if the lead author is not present during the closing session.

The certificates and cash prizes will be provided after the conference. 

Score Weighting Policy / 計分加權說明

1. Q&A Participation Incentive: The BRC Secretary Office will add weights to encourage poster paper authors and their research advisors to raise questions during the Q&A sessions of the Speakers Program. A 10% bonus will be added to the rating scores for each question raised by a poster paper author or research advisor (e.g., a 50% bonus will be added if a total of five questions are raised by you or your advisor/professor).

2. Special Guest Weighting: Votes cast by SAB (Scientific Advisory Board) members and keynote speakers will be triple-weighted (3x weight applied).

TO POSTER PAPER AUTHORS & THOSE WHO REPEAT SELECTING THE SAME POSTER PAPER

TO Poster Paper Authors - You need to fill out the evaluation survey to be qualified in this poster paper competition. However, you will be disqualified if you vote for your own poster paper (including those of your supervised students and post-docs) , or, you vote for the poster paper from your own research group under same research advisor.

(請勿評選自己、自己指導的學生和博士後研究員的壁報論文; 也請勿評選在同樣指導教授研究群下的其它壁報論文，違者將被撤銷資格)。 

TO Those Who Repeat Selecting the Same Poster Paper– Every attendee can select the top 5 “different” poster papers. Any more than one repeated selecting same poster paper among the 5 ones will disqualify the full points count.  (禁止重複評選相同壁報論文， 違者將不予計分)
