2026 8&U PERFORMANCE TEAM:

2026 Routines (all students):

1 x Jazz routine

1 x Ballet routine

1 x Lyrical routine

1 x Contemporary routine 

Term 1 Team Workshops (compulsory attendance):

1.  Saturday 31 January: Students: 1:30pm-4:30pm and Parent Orientation and Meet/Greet session: 4:15pm

2. Saturday 14 February: 2:30pm-5:30pm

3. Saturday 07 March: 2:30pm-5:30pm

4. Saturday 21 March 2:30pm-5:30pm

• Cost: 4 x rehearsals total fee: $330 incl. GST per student payable with Term 1 invoice.

• These 4 rehearsals cover the 2026 routine choreography and attendance at all four (4) workshops are compulsory.

• Students will be positioned for their 2026 routines during these workshops.

Term 1 classes commence on: Monday 02 February (this is week 2 of school).

Term 2 & 3 Performance Dates

(these are approx. dates for planning purposes, a further update will be available in February, 2026):

Term 2:

• 1st Eisteddfod Wynnum Eisteddfod: 02 or 03 May, 2026

• 2nd Eisteddfod Ipswich Junior Eisteddfod – during June Term 2 (dates across Week 8 & 9). 

Term 3:

• Mt Gravatt Show Performances – 25 July (12noon-4pm) and 26 July (9am-12noon)

• Ekka Performances – 15 or 16 August (TBC) – after 12noon and before 5pm

• 3rd Eisteddfod – during August/September 

Term 4 Dates (compulsory attendance):

• Concert Rehearsals: 31 October & 21 November 2026

• Concert: 05 and 06 December, 2026

All performance dates/times are confirmed within 3 weeks of the approx. dates provided above. 

Students are only required one (1) day out of the proposed dates of each eisteddfod.
