We’re excited to bring the MOVA Training Academy (MTA) back in person this year! The training will take place at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. This is a chance to learn, connect with others doing this work, and grow as an advocate.
MTA brings together community and criminal legal advocates from across Massachusetts. You’ll build your skills, learn from experienced trainers, and connect with peers from other programs.
The MOVA Training Academy was developed to meet the emerging needs of direct service providers in the victim services field in Massachusetts. The MTA unites criminal legal and community advocates across the Commonwealth and provides knowledge that supports trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equitable services that reflect the diverse communities they serve. As a result, the voices and experiences of victims and survivors will be further heard, valued, and amplified across systems.
The introductory track learning community is designed for students with 1-3 years of experience providing direct services to victims and survivors of crime.
