Meals in the Dining Hall
Meals – Assigned Team should plan on eating work crew meals if your schedule allows. On weeks with low attendance or no adult guests there may be space in the camper meal. For work crew meal a volunteer from each table will serve the firsts.
Kitchen Foot Traffic - Do not cut through the kitchen.
Left-Overs – If eating at a table and wanting left-overs, please ask the front table kitchen staff for a to-go box. Please do not take serving dishes or plates out of the dining hall
Special Meal Request Policy
Young Life has issued a policy about special food needs and requests. To see the policy in full, please reference Policy CMP-006. Below is a short synopsis of what the policy includes:
“A vegetarian/vegan option is available at each meal, and camp kitchens will provide alternative meals for guests, assigned team members and volunteers with special diets prescribed by a licensed medical provider. Providing meal choices beyond the standard camp menu requires additional labor and increases food costs. These costs directly impact the summer camp fee. As a matter of stewardship, camp kitchens are not able to accommodate the unique eating preferences of summer assigned teams and volunteers. The camp will provide a refrigerator in the assigned team housing for individuals who choose to bring their own food to camp to supplement or replace the meals provided by the kitchen.”
Stocking Assigned Team Kitchens
If assigned team lodging has a kitchen, then you may stock it with the items below. These items are stocked in the office kitchen. Please help yourself.

If an assigned team member has dietary restrictions which can be accommodated within the normal kitchen inventory, those items will be provided by camp. Otherwise, you will need to pick up specific needs in town. Please contact the office.
