Future Missions

The system is expected to play a crucial role in NASA's lunar exploration plans and other deep space missions, potentially serving as caretakers for spacecraft during crew absences. It is expected to also help in NASA's return to the moon in its Artemis missions. Future investigations by Astrobee will help develop hardware/software technologies for more diverse experiments and upgrades. NASA also hopes to use it for deep space missions because they can easily be adjusted.
