Appellate Advocacy (Moot Court) Overview


  • Overview

    • Hone your appellate advocacy skills, both written and oral, on a variety of topics, including criminal procedure, sports law, constitutional law, etc. 

    • Travel to New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Houston, and abroad. 

    • Compete as a 2L with the option to compete as a 3L. 

    • Teams are coached by 3Ls, often with the support and advice of professors. 

  • Competitions

    • Argue an appeal on a team of 2 or 3 students

    • Write a brief

    • Oral arguments before a panel of judges

    • New international law component
