Hair, Shoes, Tights & More!

Please see the REQUIRED shoes, tights (or socks), hair, and recommended undergarments listed below for each piece. For your convenience, tights and Nude Leotards are available for purchase at the studio.

Hairpieces: Just like Beyonce says, "to the left, to the left"...all hairpieces will be pinned to the left! (Except Halos and Tiaras go center!)

Ballet Tights: Capezio #1916 Color Light Pink (Ultra Soft Self Knit Waistband Transition Tight) OR Skin Tone Tights of your choice

Ballet Shoes: All ballet shoes must be CLEAN and FREE from holes or other stains. Please purchase in advance!

Socks: All socks should be plain in color and free from labels or other prints 

Sneakers: Please wear Converse-style sneakers (both high or low top are acceptable)

Undergarments: Although nude leotards are not required, it is highly recommended for all dancers who would prefer additional coverage between costume changes. ***Some dancers ARE required to purchase pink or nude colored briefs. Please purchase these in advance, as they do sell out around Nutcracker time. Links provided - please purchase these or similar.
