2023 JOYS 30

Grow from Within

About Inner Development Goals (IDGs)

The IDGs will provide an essential framework of transformative skills for sustainable development, a field-kit (in co-creation now) on how to develop these necessary skills - open source and free for all to use. The current IDGs framework represents 5 dimensions and 23 skills and qualities which are especially crucial for leaders who address SDGs, but fundamentally for all of us!  It is the greatest possible accelerator to reach the Sustainable Development Goals and create a prosperous future for all humanity.

IDG Hub of Hong Kong

Third Sector Connect (TSC) currently is the IDG Hub of Hong Kong, so welcome you to join this learning journey as a hub member, find out more here.

Chinese Music meets IDG

TSC is also proud to present here how traditional Chinese music would integrate with the five dimensions of IDG. Thanks to the permission from the music director and principal conductor of Yao Yueh Chinese Music Association, Dr. CC Leung to use his masterpiece 'Tai Po Snapshot'.

Personal IDG report - Sample

Based on the survey that you filled out before and after the Joys 30 journey, a pre and post activity radar chart will be generated for you.

The Pre chart reflects your self-perceived strength in each of the five IDG (Inner Development Goals) dimensions. The Post chart shows your strength in each IDG pillar based on your actions, which should be a better reflection than self perception. Pay more attention to relative strength than absolute, as the latter is affected by your completion of the 30 tasks.

Being - Relationship to self

Thinking - Cognitive skills

Relating - Caring for others and the world

Collaborating - Social skills

Acting - Enabling changes
