Dear Sisters and Friends,
We include this month's IPA Justice Contact Update from Christopher Zefting our IPA Programme Action Leader. There is plenty of interest to read but there is a wonderful invitation to engage in Contemplative Dialogue for COP28, in your community that has been prepared thoughtfully for us by Lancia Rodrigues, our IPA Spirituality and Charism animator.
I also offer an invitation to engage with us in the Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network in our Christmas Webinar - Who Pays for Christmas? (You will have to register for this event see details below).
There is also an invitation to attend a webinar to learn a little more about the work of the Presentation Sisters in the Holy Land. (You don't have to register for this event.)
Regards as always
Brian

Understanding the link between all at home and those poor and being kept poor I was asked to preprare a resource that would help us to rethink our approach to Christmas and live up to our SDG promise by taking some of the actions below.
Being Present in the Holy Land
On foot of our work undertaken at the International Presentation Assembly in Newfoundland in June of 2023 there formed the genesis of an idea to host a webinar that would involve the Presentation Sisters in the Holy Land who are attached to the English Province. Sr. Julie who was at the Assembly shared some of what it is like to work and live in the Holy Land and we felt that this information would be of real interest to the Sisters in Ireland and England as we continue to collaborate in Justice. Since June, we are all aware of the changing reality for so many living in Palestine and whilst our Sisters are safe where they are, they are uniquely present with those whose lives are directly impacted by the ongoing war.
On November 27 next we have invited Sr. Julie and Sr. Anna to present at our webinar so that you will learn a little more about their work and their lives in the Holy Land in present times.
You can join our Meeting using the link below.
