The first iteration replicates the form of a jungle gym. The M-shaped jungle gym allows for children to play, climb, and run around. Because of the middle structure, there is sturdiness regarding how the shape is aggregated. This version of the jungle gym can be replicated in order to be disassembled and changed in the future. Once the children that played on this jungle gym grows up, this shape can be reconfigured to a more mature and useful shape that teenagers can adopt.
The second iteration for the jungle gym includes repeating the same shape as the first iteration and growing it to fit inside a room. This allows for children to play freely and with repeating members that act structurally. Children can play around while the parents sit down at each horizontal connected member. There can be adapations to include swings and children can climb around.
This is another perspective for the second iteration of the jungle gym. This jungle gym can act as an adaptable place for teenagers. After children grow up, the need for their own "playground" will adapt to a new change. In this iteration, teenagers and adults alike can exercise freely and can have a quiet space after school. There are separation of spaces within and acts as different study or hang out spaces.
The third iteration for a jungle gym can be placed anywhere in a park. On the left, the structure is placed in the middle of a park on a walkway. It provides a shading post for people and teenagers and children can sit on the jungle gym. The shape of the structure is similar to a circle and provides equal distribution of weight and allows for people to hang out on both sides. If people get tired while walking or jogging around the park, they can sit on this structure and take a break.
This view shows the ability for the structure to expand and grow vertically and horizontally. The shape can maintain a circular shape and grow for a bigger place for people to hang out.
This view can allow for the structure to capture different views. People to sit around and watch the sky or people. There are places for people to sit and stand around inside while being shaded against the sun or rain.
