Activity #2 will consist of three parts:

1) Please take a look below at the Noise Pollution & Sound activity that will be discussed on Thursday. We are asking each participant to complete this activity over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday to collect the necessary data. You will need to download the Decibel X app (free app) on a smart device.

2) Last week, we did a poll to see how many of you have your own musical instrument. If you do, please plan to have it available on Thursday. If not, do NOT worry because you will be making one ! Below are some of the options that will be available on Thursday. Please plan accordingly.

Items needed: Cardboard, 2 metal bottle tops (Or something metal that can clink together), Glue, (optional: googly eyes, paint or something to make a design with); Alternatives: tape, coins (i.e. quarters, nickels, etc.)
Flutes
Items needed: Straws, Plastic water bottles, Tape, Scissors
Rainmakers
Items needed: any size pringles can (or alternative), rice or beans, decorative tape
Xylophone
Items needed: various size glasses, water, utensil (or alternative)
