In the sample lessons below, Lindsey's students used Google Tour Builder to create a tour of the original 13 colonies. Desmos is a suite of math tools that allows students to graph functions, plot data, evaluate equations, explore transformations and much more. By solving a series of related problems, students discover the answer to an over arching question or problems.
Tara uses a variety of technology in her classes each week. She is never afraid to try anything new! The two examples shown below, allow the students to communicate and collaborate on the same message board. Padlet allows students to share ideas by adding sticky notes to a bulletin board. Dotstorming takes it a step further by allowing students to vote on the idea they think is best. Teachers can assign the number of votes each student gets.
