2007

On October 1, 2007, Five Points Washington officially opened.

Coyote Creek subdivision opened lots for sale at the corner of Nofsinger Road and Dutch Lane.

An idea was floated by the District 50 school board to rename Beverly Manor School to Roger Stevens School in honor of their outgoing 16-year superintendent.  As a result, a petition of over 600 signatures was presented to the board in opposition to the move, and the renaming did not occur.  There was no disrespect towards Stevens intended, residents just didn't want to change the name of their school.

The WCHS baseball team reaches the state final tournament for the first time in school history, finishing in third place.

Scott Underwood was the 2007 recipient of the Washingtonian Award.
