2006

2006 saw the beginning of the Take Pride In Washington cleanup day.  It also saw the inaugural playing of the Tournament of Champions, although the event would not move to Washington until 2007.

The City of Washington made significant infrastructure changes to help curb the flooding problems of Farm Creek.

Developer Scott Underwood wanted to build a multi-family duplex at the corner of South Main Street and Holland.  The South Main Neighborhood Association objected to the construction and Underwood nixed his plans.
