Assignment Chapter 2 The Financial & Behavioral Impact of Customer - April 24, 2023
"If you had a bad day, don't bring your bad mood to class", is what I heard my teacher say when one of my classmates was behaving badly. I think this also applies to work, especially in customer service. Behavior can affect the customers emotions, thinking, and of course, experience. Coming to work with a bad mood and negative mind can make the customer also have a bad mood and negative mind about the place as well as the employees too. It can make that customers experience uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Having bad behavior not only affects the customer, but it also affects the workplace too. The customers can always pass down their experiences about a place, whether it's good or bad, and that can make people either come or not to that place.
Now what Andrew Dunn did a good job on was that he hired employees who actually cared for the customers. He makes sure that they are caring and well-trained. That way the customers will have the best experience. During the economic slump times, he was able to quickly adapt to changes. It reached out to new investors and offered shares of their company.
Planning My First Trip

Location
Seoul, Korea has an array of different terrains, foods, subcultures, and attractions. It's where I want to go to see and experience a different culture, and sight-see the beautiful views. They are mostly known for their K-Pop and K-Dramas.
Myeong-dong is mostly known for their shopping places, that's why I chose this location.
Flight
It takes 4hrs and 45mins. from Guam to Seoul, Incheon International Airport. It costs 341 USD round trip for 1 week. Microsoft Bing Travel - Flights from Guam to Seoul. Documents that are required are a valid US passport, visa, or an approved Korea Electronic Travel Authorization, Onward/Returning ticket.
Lodging
The hotel I chose to stay in is Olive Hostel. It costs about $945 for 1 week. I picked this hotel because it has a great location and close public transport. It has nearly everything that you'll need that almost feels like home. Free breakfast in the morning, daily towel changes, and great hosts. For me, I like to feel comfortable in a hotel that makes me feel warm and welcomed like Olive Hostel.
Food & Beverages
Bossam (Korean Pork Belly)
Bossam is one of the first dishes I want to try in Korea. Of course, it's simple to make, but I want to try it at Korea just to taste and see how different they make it.Â
Jajangmyeon
Jajangmyeon is the noodle I would want to eat because it looks so good. I mostly see it in shows and movies which makes me want to eat it more.
Recreation, Amusement, & Shopping
Namsan Tower
I want to see the view of Seoul, Korea really high. There are also different activities there before I can go all the way to the top.
Underground Shopping
Underground shopping is very popular in Korea because most of them are affordable and still nice in style. I want to go there mostly for shopping for clothes.
The Plain Jewelry Shop
I love wearing jewelry and The Plain Jewelry shop in Seoul has so many pretty jewelries. What I'll do there is buy a lot of rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.
