Place 12 balls adjacent from their diamond positions touching the rail with the last 2 balls on the head spot and foot spot and the 15 ball in the center
As an easier alternative to On The Rail, place each of the 12 rail balls 1 ball width FROM the rail as shown below. (You can use the cue ball as a reference)
Setup all 15 balls at full diamond positions from end to end 1 diamond width out on each side of the table with the 15 ball in the middle.
Setup all 15 balls at 1/2 diamond positions from end to end down the center of the table with the 15 ball in the middle.
Setup 2 triangles at each end of the table, 15 ball in the center and the last 2 balls creating the line in the center.
Setup half the table in a "V" shape then do the same to the other side of the table. Position the 15 ball in the center and the 2 remaining balls one diamond away from the foot spot and the head spot as shown.
Setup a large triangle from the 1st center diamond on the short rail leading to the 2nd diamond from the long ralis on either side with the 15 ball in the center.
Setup 13 balls in an “X” position with the 15 ball in the center. Then place the remaining 2 balls on the foot spot and the head spot.
Setup all 15 balls from one side pocket to it's adjacent pocket with 15 ball in the center. Space 7 balls evenly on each side of the 15 ball.
Setup all 15 balls from one pocket to it's adjacent pocket with 15 ball in the center. Space the balls evenly. Use a pool stick to align balls.
Place the 15 ball in the center as usual. Then place 3 balls horizontally at each side of the 15 ball at 1/2 diamond widths. Then starting at the head spot to the foot spot, place 4 balls vertically at each side of the 15 ball also at 1/2 diamond widths.
