Unit Leadership

Eric Duquette has been serving as captain since 2018. He has worked his way up the chain of command serving as both ensign and lieutenant since joining the hobby in 2010. He was previously a private in the 13th Mass Civil War unit since 1999. In his job to lead soldiers, give commands, be mindful of safety, and make tactical decisions based on the historical events being portrayed.

When he is not bossing troops around on the field, he is bossing around students in his middle school social studies classes.

Eric Duquette, Captain

Eric Trevail is the current President and Lieutenant of the unit on the field.

Eric joined the unit in 1997 with his parents (who are still members).  He has held all field officer positions within the unit.  Occasionally Eric is asked to take on a field officer position at larger events.  He has helped organize weekend Revolutionary War encampments and history timeline events that the 13th has been the hosts.  He also helps to organize school programs at local schools in Massachusetts.

In 2025, the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution begins.  Eric hopes to make it to many of the anniversary events with unit members to help commemorate the event and to also remember those that lost their lives to obtain freedom.
