The 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade is comprised of the 105th Military Police Battalion, 105th Engineer Battalion, 505th Engineer Battalion and 690th Brigade Support Battalion, 295th Signal Network Support Company, Headquarter and Headquarters Company, 578th Forward Engineer Support Team-Main (FEST-M) and the Main Command Post-Operational Detachment (MCP-OD). Units assigned to the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade provide the commander with the assets and capabilities for command and signal, communication, engineering support teams, main command post operations and military police. During the 2016 Charlotte City Riots, the 105th MP BN provided security, protection and control for both the citizens and law enforcement. The 105th EN BN has been the force multiplier in several construction missions, completing projects across the state of North Carolina. Since 9/11, the 505th EN BN deployed three times in support of Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. During State Active Duty for Hurricane Florence, the 690th BSB assisted Red Cross efforts, provided vehicle recovery support to military and civilians housing over 1100 personnel across three armories. Recently the brigade participated in the Republican National Convention and Warfighter missions with the 82nd Airborne Division. The diligent efforts of our companies make the 130th MEB a unique asset to our nation.
