Join the Collective. Refine Your Craft.
A dedicated group of up to 12 artists working across 2D and 3D mediums. We meet regularly to support each other, critique work, share resources, and present an annual exhibition.
Exhibitions & Sales: An annual main show, pop-up events, small works sales, and regional show applications.
Creative Outings: En plein air excursions, working retreats, and group trips to galleries and supply runs.
Skill Building: Member-led workshops, live/figure study sessions, and external artist talks.
Shared Promotion: Cross-promotion of both individual and collective shows through our website, social media, and press releases.
Collaborative Projects: Work swaps, group fundraisers, and joint creative ventures.
Monthly Rotation: Meetings occur up to twice a month, hosted in members' studios or homes on a rotating basis. Hosts are responsible for arranging an alternative space if theirs is unavailable.
Season Kickoff: Our annual cycle starts in late August or early September. Dues are collected, roles are assigned, and the calendar is set at this first meeting.
Attendance Policy: Members may not miss more than 3 meetings per year to remain in good standing.
Annual Service Hours: Expect a minimum of 72 hours per year (~5.5 hours/month). This covers meetings, monthly creative prompts ("homework"), and event setup or teardown.
Shared Responsibilities: Everyone contributes equally to essential operations, including show planning, publicity, curation, staffing, event management, and tech support.
Event Support: Members actively show up for receptions, art tours, and fellow members' solo shows.
Juried Entry: Membership is juried to ensure artistic quality, diversity of style, and dedicated professionalism.
Growth Mindset: Members maintain a focused drive toward refining their craft, creating new work, and regularly exhibiting to the public.
Supportive Environment: We foster a constructive, professional, and peer-learning space both internally and in public.
3-Month Trial Window: Membership begins at the September meeting. During the first 3 months, either the artist or the collective may end the agreement, with a 75% refund of paid fees. After 3 months, fees are non-refundable.
Resignation Notice: Members wishing to leave must provide a 1-month written notice and fulfill their duties/dues during that window.
Capacity: Applications remain open until we hit our 12-member cap, after which entry is by call-out only.
