During Unit 0 I learned about?
How to properly send an email and make it look more professional: Something I never knew about letters was the signature. I never knew you could add signatures to the bottom of letter making them look professional
You don't have to be an expert: Personally I find technology pretty challenging but my professor I feel helped me get it off to a strong start and make it seem somewhat fun.
5 different components to Information system: Hardware, Software, Data, People Process
During Unit 0 I set things to improve?
What I need to improve?
Organization: I feel like when I write out all my note they are all over the place and kind of messy making it more difficult to read. This can also go with files I think I need to manage my file better so I don't lose them easily
Asking more questions: Ask more questions as sometimes I feel lost especially during the lectures
Participation: Engaging more in class discussions.
Email Assignment: I was tasked to send a professonal email to one of my professors. I made sure to include a formal greeting, an attachment to the email I was sending, clarification on what I was asking for, and a signature at the end of my email.
Reflection: During Unit 0 it taught me how to properly write an email in a professional format and to end it with a signature. I also gained more knowledge about the 5 different components to the information system. There were also signs of areas I could improve me in, including asking more questions, Organization and being engaged in conversations.
