Engaging talks and mini-keynote speakers
Interactive Student activities
STEM Aviation displays and competition
Sponsor displays and engagement
Live media broadcast from the main stage
and of course the highly anticipated awards ceremonies with winning schools announced
On the Day
Each team of maximum 4 students will have the opportunity to present to the judges and award sponsors through 2 showcase sessions with a break for morning tea.
Award presenters will select finalists and winners in their category and these will be announced after the lunch break
Student teams will have 5 minutes (maximum) with the judges to pitch their project and answer questions.
School teams will be provided with a 1.8 metre trestle table and 1.2 metre backing board for their display space. You'll be responsible for decorating your display space and will be required to display the school identity (e.g. school banner, logo, poster). There will be no electricity available and if you intend to use any virtual displays please ensure you have fully charged devices and back up. You should plan on 6 hours of battery charge.
Whilst we'll encourage students to visit other teams, your display space needs to have a student presence throughout each showcase session.
