The Vestavia Hills High School Dance Department was founded in 1970 when the school first opened. The dance department offers introduction to dance classes as well as advanced and composition based classes. It is also the home of the Varsity and Junior Varsity dance teams. The department has two full time dance educators and hosts a variety of guest teachers and choreographers throughout the school year.
