We have had a fun time talking about TEMPO this week. Ask your child if they remember what tempo is - hopefully they will say "tempo is the speed of the beat"! Have them show you the dance! When it is time to swing your partner link right elbows and then left elbows. This is challenging for some children to do because they are crossing their midline to link up. I remind them it is like shaking hands except we are shaking elbows.
