The FORM is ABCAB(bridge)BC. Get different family members to play different parts. Kindergarten and 1st graders - Play the steady beat. Create your own rhythms!!!
Movement activity "Darth Strong"
Grab a scarf, a dishtowel, or even a washcloth and move along with Darth. Move musically and notice when he changes hands and the levels (below the knees, over head).
= 1 beat "pie"
= two eighth notes get 1/2 beat each. "Choc-late"
= 2 beats "yu-um"
quarter rest = 1 beat of silence "sh"
Grab a bucket or a plastic bowl and play the rhythms along with this Star wars theme!
