If you ask school children, why do they love Science ? They will reply that, it is because Science has experiments. They learn & perform few experiments given in their textbooks only. Most of the students don't get an opportunity to do the experiment themselves or to find & verify the scientific theories. Many Schools lack the basic infrastructure to conduct simple experiments along with trained staff. With this view, MaViPa launched a unique program 'Shanivari Vigyanvari'. It involves collaborating with Colleges and training interested undergraduate students as Vidnyan Prasarak. These students are later allotted schools wherein they done the hat of the teacher and/or experimenter and explain and perform with school students the simple experiments and make Science a fun loving subject.
Below are the list of Vidnyan Prasarak from our College from the Departments of Microbiology and Biotechnology. This experience has been rewarding for our students and the association with MaViPa has been an enlightening one.
