About MRs. Conlon

I am looking forward to an amazing year!

While working in the Verona school district, I taught fourth grade at Brookdale for a year and fifth grade Literacy at HBW for five years.  This is my 3rd year teaching 6th grade.

My true passion is getting my students excited about reading and writing.  The goal is to develop lifelong readers by sharing my own enthusiasm for reading.  I truly believe that all students can learn to love reading if they find the right book!

I have my Masters in Literacy Instruction, am a Certified Reading Specialist, and am Certified in Orton-Gillingham, a multisensory phonics program.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family both in NJ and Arizona.
