Go to the download page to download the scoreboard.
Once you have downloaded the scoreboard run the installer to install it and then run the scoreboard.
The very first thing you need to do is to add games.
Click the Add button.
Enter the parameters for your games.
Enter the names of the teams for the first game:
The Pool is used for tournaments and is optional.
Click the plus button (or the enter key) to add the game to the list.
You can keep adding more games. The start time automatically increases by the specified game duration.
Click on the OK button to go back to the scoreboard with the new set of games Scoreboard.
You will usually want to check the Remove Existing Games option, but you would uncheck it if you already have some games you want to keep, and you wand to add a few more.
Once you have added some games the scoreboard will be running and counting down to the start of the first game.
Running Games
The first game will automatically start when the time ticks over.
During a game you can pause and resume the clock, record goals, and cards (penalties).
When one games finishes it automatically roll over to the next game. It will give you the opportunity to play extra time if the games finishes in a draw and requires extra time.
See the Using the Scoreboard section for more about running games.
Saving and Loading Games
Once you have added some games to the scoreboard the software will automatically save and load those games. You can close the scoreboard and it will start off at the appropriate game time, even if the computer had crashed unexpectedly.
You can also save games to file by selecting Save Games from the menu.
You can then load games from the same file bu selecting Load Games from the menu.
When you load games they will load at their saved times, so if a game should have been underway it will be.
Secondary Display
The scoreboard is designed to run with a laptop to control the system and a large screen to display main scoreboard.
To use the Scoreboard with a secondary screen you need to know how to attach a secondary monitor, and how to use your computers Display settings to Extend your desktop to the secondary monitor.
You can find out how to do this at https://support.microsoft.com/en-nz/kb/976064.
Once that is setup you can select the Show Secondary on Screen 2 option from the scoreboard menu.
