Your V-number is your unique student number. It always begins with an upper-case letter "V" followed by eight numeric digits. This number is on your early notification email and your official admission letter.
An eID is assigned to all students and authorizes access to VCU’s electronic services and web applications, including eServices, the myVCU portal, the wireless network, library applications, and some departmental applications.
With your V-number from your admissions letter, you can find your eID using the VCU eID Finder.
Email is the official means of University communication with students. Please set it up as soon as possible. Your email address is your eID (eID@vcu.edu). You can set up your VCU email account at http://collaborate.vcu.edu. Be sure to check it often.
Your VCUCard is the official identification card for students, faculty, and staff. Your VCU email address and Vnumber before accessing the online photo submission portal.
Select DAPT for your Orientation Group
Select 8/26 for your Registered Orientation Date
Check for a confirmation email notifying you if the photo was accepted or rejected.
You can pick up your VCU ID during lunch on the first day of class in Snead Hall (8/26). Bring proof of identity for pickup.
