Pay your tuition deposit through the myVCU portal. To access the portal, you will need your VCU eID and password. To make an online payment, select: Student > Student Account > Make a payment > eDeposits. The $500 deposit is due within two weeks of receiving the official admissions letter from Dr. Halloran.

Graduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (and not currently in default on loans) are automatically eligible to receive $20,500 in federal unsubsidized student loans per academic year.
Repayments begin six months after graduation; no early repayment penalties apply.
Interest, currently 6.54%, accrues while students are in school.
Students who need additional funds to cover their tuition fully may apply for secondary credit-based loans, such as the Grad PLUS (interest currently at 7.54%.
Please note: The VCU DAPT program spans 1.5 academic years; therefore, students may receive a total of $20,500 in the first academic year (fall 2022-summer 2023) and $20,500 in the second academic year (fall 2022). The first-year balance will need to be covered by a Grad PLUS loan.
