LSA Junior Seminar at FC is a revamp of LSA Internship and LSA Ethics/Oratory & Debate in response to VBCPS's High School Redesign/Compass to 2025 AND alignment of the Legal Studies Academy core-four courses (Introduction to Law, Introduction to Criminal Justice, LSA Junior Seminar, and Senior Project). The course's main focus is to embed the four pillars of High School Redesign into a course-based approach. The foundation of the course is to impart workplace readiness skills to the students based on the students' academic and career planning. In turn, students apply their new skills while participating in work-based learning experiences (internships and service learning). These placements are based on the students' post-secondary plans and the 3 E's (enroll-enlist-employ).
