Middle school registration process begins in December. School counseling lessons will focus on providing our 5th grade students with the essential skills and knowledge for middle school options, choose middle school electives, and complete their Academic and Career Plan (ACP). We will provide our rising 6th graders with breakout boxes to prepare for middle school transitions as well as practice opening combination locks.

Fifth graders in Virginia Beach have multiple options available to them as they reach middle school. Each option is different and meets the needs of different students. Please review your choices carefully to decide which one best fits your student.
