We are happy to announce that Mrs. Peterson is Red Mill's Reading Teacher of the Year! Mrs Peterson has been teaching for 33 years, 29 of those years right here at Red Mill Elementary. She taught in Meridian, Mississippi for 4 years. Her favorite subject is obviously reading. Mrs Peterson's favorite children's book author is Kevin Henkes. Her favorite book is Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon. In her spare time, Mrs Peterson likes to shop, spend time with her family, read, and watch movies. When it was announced she was very thankful and surprised. Congratulations, Mrs. Peterson!
