(Nine-Weeks Course):
Explore creative processes using elements of art (e.g., color, form, line, shape, space, texture, value) and principles of design (e.g., balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, pattern,
proportion, rhythm, unity, variety) as you investigate a variety of ideas, media, and processes for creating art. Through critical analysis, historical and cultural studies, and evaluation, students determine how artists convey meaning visually.
(Nine-Weeks Course):
Students engage in personal goal achievement and study responsibilities within the family, personal safety and health, financial management, clothing maintenance, food preparation, relationships with others, and career exploration.
(Nine-Weeks Course):
Utilize 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and problem-solving to create prototypes, models, products and systems to solve real-world problems in today’s global community.
(Nine-Weeks Course):
This course is designed to teach the basics of money management. Course objectives include applying the decision-making process to set goals and budget spending as well as understanding the basics of personal finance. Students will apply problem-solving skills and critical thinking to real-life situations.
