PVSA INFORMATION

The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is the premier volunteer awards program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition.

Hours are measured over a 12-month period (May 1-mid-April each year) and awards are designated based on cumulative hours. The awards are offered in multiple levels and are designed to recognize each milestone of your service achievement. Levels include bronze, silver, and gold.

At Old Donation School, service is at the heart of our Plan for Continuous Improvement. Each year, it is our goal that 25% of students will report volunteer hours for community service projects or activities as measured by data collected through the President's Volunteer Service Award program. Ultimately, we encourage all students to participate.
