Important Dates

September:

• September 13th- All fifth graders will be screened. Information will go home as we get closer to the screening date.

October:     

• October 18th- All first graders will be screened. Information will go home as we get closer to the screening date.

November: 

• November 1st- MYP- Plaza parent information night for all 5th grade parents at Plaza Middle School from 6 pm

• November 14th- Old Donation School Parent Information Night for 5th grade students at  6:00 p.m. 

• November 15th- Old Donation School Gifted Dance Program Parent Information Night at 5:30 p.m. - 

• November 27th- November 29th -  All first graders will be screened. Information will go home as we get closer to the screening date.

• November 28th- Old Donation School Parent Information Night for 1st grade students at  6:00 p.m. 

December:

• December 1st- Old Donation School will host an information night for students in grades 1-4. Doors will open at 5pm for self guided tours. Program overview presentation begins at 6pm.

• December 6th- Visual Arts Program Parent Information Night – Virginia Beach Middle School, 600 25th St. at 5:15 p.m. 

January:

• January 8th: All gifted application for ODS must be completed by 5 pm for students in grades 2nd-5th, and MYP applications are also due by 5 pm. Late applications will not be accepted.

**If your child in grades 2-5 is applying to ODS (Old Donation School) and the application must be completed on or before the 8th of January. 

February: 

• February 1: Gifted Dance and Art Education applications are due. 

March:

• March 15th- MYP Decision letters will be emailed

• March 22nd- MYP letters of intent are due
