DE Micro & Macro Economics

This yearlong course presents a broad overview of economic theory, history, development, and application. Macroeconomics focuses on the study of national economic growth, inflation, recession, unemployment, financial markets, money and banking, the role of government spending and taxation, along with international trade, exchange rates, and investments. While Microeconomics focuses coverage of economic models and graphs, different business models, scarcity and choices, supply and demand, marginal benefits and costs, profits, and production and distribution. 

Students have the option to complete asynchornous Personal Finance modules while enrolled in the course.  Succesfully doing so and passing the course satisfies the Econ/Personal Finance graduation requirement.
