HELLO!   Welcome to our Gifted Program at Christopher Farms for 2024-2025. Please use the tabs at the top of the screen to find helpful information on testing, resources, and other important topics. I will also share a sampling of the learning opportunities happening in our K-1 classrooms and in our gifted cluster 2-5 classrooms.

GOALS:  As the Gifted Resource Teacher at Christopher Farms ES, I have three main goals for this school year:

1. I will provide depth and complexity to your child's learning experience. These learning opportunities are meant to get them to think creatively, problem-solve, and/or think analytically. To do so, I will plan and co-teach lessons with the cluster classroom teacher that will help students dig deeper into their learning.

2. I will coach and collaborate with the cluster classroom teacher to continue using these gifted pedagogies to differentiate instruction to meet the gifted learners' intellectual needs.  After all, they are gifted all day, everyday (not just when they are with me).

3. I will support our gifted students in their social-emotional learning to help them find their interests, strengths, and passions.
