Strategic planning at Vassar is anchored in the Priorities and Planning (P&P) process, which is led by the Dean of Strategic Planning and Academic Resources. 

The P&P process is an inclusive, community-informed effort to clarify shared goals, strengthen our sense of collective purpose, and focus institutional priorities. Drawing on the knowledge and experience of faculty, staff, alums, students, and others, the process is designed to build confidence that we are moving together in a clear and intentional direction. 

The current 2025–2026 P&P process builds on the foundation established in the 2018–2019 P&P cycle.
