The Vermilion Association for Special Education is a county special education cooperative providing services to the following schools of Vermilion County:

• Hoopeston Area Community Unit District #11
• Oakwood Community Unit District #76

• Westville Community Unit District #2

Itinerant services provided include: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Adapted PE, Vision Impairment Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, School Social Work Services, School Psychologist services, Speech/Language Services, Early Childhood Special Education, Audiology services, and Transition services. VASE is also the home of Middle Fork School which is a public therapeutic day school for students with emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and Intellectual Disabilities for the students of the schools served by the VASE cooperative.
