You need to choose one enrichment to include on your timetable.
There are five categories to choose from but you can only select one enrichment session from one category.
You can choose one of the following:
Archaeology
You will explore the subject of Archaeology, where it came from & why it matters in the modern world. You will also be able to explore study & career opportunities in Archaeology & Heritage & get specific help with taking the subject further.
Careers Skills: Recruitment and Selection
Understand different industries, applications for jobs - CV - entry requirements, structure, applications, interviews, job roles. This enrichment programme will teach students about the recruitment selection process and prepare them for the world of work.
Dance Audition Toolkit
This enrichment will support dance students in their progress and development to next steps. We will cover the learning of important audition material, support students in creating performance solos for their auditions, discuss dance at university/conservatoire, prepare and guide students through the audition process and support with skill development, self -reflection and progress through feedback. The previous two years of audition tool kit running has seen 100% of students gain places at the first choices of institution- all of which are amongst the most reputable dance schools in UK/Europe. This year the enrichment is open to all dance students in year 2 so that they have designated time to boost skills and work towards achieving goals.
Design and Architecture Portfolio Application
Build a strong portfolio of work ahead of your applications for Design, Architecture and Engineering. Access specialist guidance on how best to prepare for University applications and interviews and spend time developing your portfolio.
Employability Skills Qualification
On this course you will develop your employability skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork and will cover the following areas:

Film Careers
For Filmmakers, Writers, Actors and Artists. Screen Careers is a group for students who are passionate about Film, and interested in pursuing a Career in the area. Sessions will aim to develop ideas for Short Films and connect teams to execute Short Films, with the goal of entering those films in Festivals. This could mean Camera Operation, Costume Design, Acting or various other on-set or broader Film Industry roles.
GCSE Maths Extra!
For GCSE Foundation students: Are you aiming for a grade 4 or 5 in your GCSE Maths Exams? If yes, this is the enrichment for you ! This enrichment is all about helping to push you over the line from grade 3 into grade 4. We will concentrate on grade 4 and grade 5 topics to increase your confidence in tackling the harder problems in your GCSE papers, supporting you to gain this vital qualification and get you on your way to the university course or apprenticeship or job that you are aspiring towards.

Graphic Design - Portfolio Builder
This course will help students to develop a portfolio of design work to take to university interviews and gain confidence in their presentation. This is therefore suitable for year 2 visual arts students only.
Hidden Histories
Students will challenge their perceived ideas of history. Learn to be critical of where they often learn their history, and why some histories are less
covered.
Latin For Beginners
Latin Language for beginners aims at providing students with the tools for an appreciation and understanding of the Latin language with a special emphasis on etymology and meta-linguistic (grammar) reflections that can be applied to English and other MFL. As well as being an important complement in the formation of Classicists, Latin opens up direct access to sources for aspiring Historians, and addresses the foundation of essential Law and Medicine specialised vocabulary. Despite its old reputation as ‘elite subject’, Latin language through renewed pedagogy is now engaging and multi-code, ensuring accessibility to all, and a valuable vehicle for the building of cultural capital.

Online Portfolio for Interviews - Photography
Yr2 photography students are asked to submit an online portfolio either as a precursor to their interview or as their application. This is the case for The Met (interviews can take place at any time) and Universities- the platform and format of the online portfolio may vary from one establishment to another.
STEM Biology Enrichment
You will explore a variety of topics, linking Biology to the real world and extending knowledge beyond the specification
Travel and Tourism Extra - a focus on life within the industry
An enrichment to explore the range of careers available in the Travel and Tourism industry. Understand more about the industry and hear from experts about the skills and experiences you will need to access one. Along with talks on ‘a day in the life’ of many different jobs within the industry I also intend on running Cabin Crew training sessions where students receive a certificate at the end of the course which they can show to potential employers.
Water Rocket Design
Research and understand rocket science, design and build a water rocket capable of challenging the UK altitude record.
