• You need to choose one enrichment to include on your timetable. 

• There are five categories to choose from but you can only select one enrichment session from one category.

Board Games Club 

Do you know your 'Scrabble' from your 'Pictionary'? Are you looking for a 'Trivial Pursuit' to fill your Enrichment time? Come along for 12 weeks of exploring some of the most popular board games that are played in homes all across the country. This is a great opportunity to come along, unwind, 'Connect 4' with some new friends and get 'Cluedo'-d up on the latest board game crazes. 

College Climate & Environment Action Group 

Help to plan how the College will reduce its environmental footprint, implement its environmental policy and eco-code. We are also following the Climate Action Road Map which links to the Government’s zero emissions targets. We have a staff and student group who meet regularly to coordinate and initiate projects such as creating and managing the college nature reserve, improving our campus environment and raising awareness about environmental issues.

EmbRACE and Culture

This student led group is for people from minority groups, where minority voices can be heard without needing to focus on questions from a majority point of view. Everyone is welcome to join. 

Film Club

Film club: watch cult classics, your favourite film, discover films from all over the world

Matinee Club

Watching and appreciation of a range of filmed performances of major dramatic  texts from across the ages.

Politics Society 

Weekly meetings with a broad range of speakers – local MPs, Councillors, activists, journalists, academics and many more. A chance to meet, discuss, contest and listen to viewpoints you may have never considered before. 

Pride

You will have the opportunity to build social links with those in attendance and develop a community group within the College. You will explore a range of aspects from LGBTQ+ history and culture and will build a Tutorial resource where you can share your thoughts, ideas and perspectives to the whole student cohort. You will explore tasks which encourage debate, communication and organisation. This will develop your communication and group skills throughout the year. Rainbow is an enrichment that is open to all students and staff. It is a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies , all are welcome. 

Philosophy Society

Ask big question, think big thoughts and meet like minded friends! 

Sociology Society

 A student lead enrichment, we will explore topics outside of those we already deliver. 

Student Ambassadors

Signing up to be a Student Ambassador will allow you to represent the College at internal and external events. You will access training to help you develop in your role as an Ambassador and you will gain valuable work experience and skills. 

Student Citizens Council

All students can participate in our Student Council. As part of this enrichment you will attend regular Student Council meetings and help respond to feedback from the College Community and shape developments that matter to you. You will be working with Citizens UK as they offer leadership and organisation training to help build future leaders of our Student Council and beyond. 

Student Union

Your Student Union needs you! Towards the end of your first year at College you will have the chance to run for Student Union elections. If you want to learn more about this in your first year then become part of our Student Council. This will be advertised via Tutorial and all students are welcome to take part!

If you are considering a career in Health and Social Care this enrichment will equip with the understanding and awareness of skills you will need. 

Nintendo Club

Chat Nintendo, discuss Nintendo & play Nintendo videogames. A chance to meet others who own a Switch, 3DS or other Handheld console. Discuss current trends, share recommendations and play some games. 

Ideal for anyone genuinely interested in videogames, the videogame industry or videogame culture. You must have a Nintendo Switch, 3DS or other handheld game console (NOT a phone), to join this enrichment.
